It is arguably the most important archaeological discovery ever made – an ossuary, or “bone box”, with an inscription on its side that reads: “James, son of Joseph, brother of Jesus”. If authentic, it is the first time that Jesus’ name appears on a 2,000-year-old artifact literally carved in stone. But is it authentic?
